Done is better than perfect.

Might as well keep this short and sweet: Treasure Adventure Game is finished!! Over the past month or so of public beta testing I came to the realization that this game will never be perfect, but I'm really really happy with it. Finishing this game is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for me. Ever since I played Super Mario Brothers I dreamt of making my own little virtual world to run, jump and have fun in.

And here it is: http://www.gamefront.com/files/21080788/treasure_adventure_game_1.0.1.zip

I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Well this is embarrassing; here I am in the middle of whipping up an impressions post about TAG's 0.6.1. build, only to have you release the whole shebang whenever I get halfway through! Not only that, but with the release of your game this year I have to reconsider my Game of the Year! Terrible, good sir, just terrible!

But in all seriousness, good show on finishing this project up! Been really impressed by what I've played of the betas, and I'm really looking forward to spending all of this weekend explore the finished version of this wonderful world of which you've crafted. Hopefully I'll get some sporadic playtime in before then, but still, I've had an easier time getting immersed in this game than I have in Skyrim, which, hopefully, is saying something. Again, congrats on completion!

Wow!! (O_o) I'd been hearing a lot of great things about "TAG", so I was very excited when I found out that you had just released its final version. And now that I've put some quality time into it, I must say that I'm truly impressed by what you've accomplished here! The gameplay is fun and tight, with some solid game mechanics thrown in for good measure; but where "TAG" truly shines is in the sadly unusual sense of wonder and innocence that your world and characters ooze. They really becomes the setting and story.

Congratulations! :D You say"TAG" is a work of love and that you enjoyed making it - well, Sir, that should be immediately obvious to anyone who gets to play it :)
I hope I'll be able to infuse as much soul to my games as you managed to put into this one.

A serious contestant for Indie of the Year, indeed!

Great game! :) Only vsync is not working at all (should be replaced by a working sync to screen) and the ALT key is still not supported as an action key.

That's a pretty nice post, i was reading something related on another web page not too long ago that essentially said the same thing although yours is better, plus its good to have some validation on seeing two sources agree.Litozin

Done isn't ever better than perfect or else there wouldn't be such a thing as failing grades on tests.

case in point: Game keeps crashing after buying painting for house. Also crashes when trying to get Map 10 at solfer Island.

It keeps crashing my computer when trying to exit the place where I bought the painting from, and exiting the door after getting to the large block puzzle on solfer.

Running latest build on a Windows XP on Windows 95 Compatibility for the game. Can't play any further.

PLEASE. FIX THIS. It's unfair for players like me who want to play 100% but have the unlucky rare opportunity of bumping into a gameplay blocking bug like this.

PLEASE. AT LEAST TRY TO FIX THESE.

I'm trying to run your game in Crossover Games/WINE but only get a white screen with sounds of seagulls and the sea (quite pleasant), do you have any tips?
