Treasure Adventure Game Forum > Game runs slow
Hi, what finally helped me was changing my monitor resolution (btw, I'm also using an Asus netbook, with an external monitor).
I set my monitor resolution to 1280 x 1024 and the slowdowns virtually disappeared.
(I also am using the "run in compatibility mode" trick that Stephen suggested, although that alone did not help).

OK I found the solution for Asus netbooks. It's the Asus "Super Hybrid Engine" settings.
It should be running in the tray (S icon). Click it and select "Super Performance Mode." Game runs like a dream now. I don't know if it overclocks the CPU or what but it runs perfectly.
If it's not in your tray, check the start menu or find it here: "C:\Program Files\ASUS\EeePC\Super Hybrid Engine\SuperHybridEngine.exe." If you deleted it entirely, maybe try the Asus website.
* The compatibility trick didn't really do it. And the resolution thing only helped marginally, if at all (sometimes it's hard to tell what's going on because it will be slower in some areas and faster in others).

over to the new build. Also, once you get the map in the castle, you will be able to find the 5th treasure map. Your English is great, BTW.Abschlussballkleider

I've been playing the game on my Asus netbook and have experienced some lag (especially when it rains). I didn't expect this to be a hardware intensive game. Any tips on getting the game to run faster?
